Printing and embossing are two different techniques. Printing involves using various colors to create a design, while embossing involves using aluminum foil with good ductility that is pressed by rollers on an embossing machine to create a paper with a raised pattern. Embossed aluminum foil paper has a more unique and luxurious feel compared to printed aluminum foil wrap.
1.Preparation of Design

To create a custom design, the file format must be AI, PS, PDF, or other original formats. Only these original files can be used to create the layout.Embossing creates a raised pattern for a tactile feel, and it is independent of color. Typically, embossed designs are relatively simple. Below are several commonly used layouts for embossed logos.

2.Make Emboss Cylinder
The pattern on the embossing cylinder is created through laser engraving on cast steel material. This is done to achieve the customized embossing pattern required, and the cylinder is then polished to produce the aluminum foil embossing cylinder. Due to the complexity of the entire process, the production of embossing rollers takes a considerable amount of time, generally around 20-30 days. The cost of one embossing roller ranges from 1200USD to 1400USD; the exact cost will be determined based on the custom logo design file.

3.Emboss Pattern on Machine
The newly made embossing cylinder must be first installed on the embossing machine for debugging and grinding. The process of grinding new embossing rollers takes about 5-7 days. Only a properly maintained embossing cylinder can effectively emboss aluminum foil wrap. A large roll of glossy surface aluminum foil is mounted to one end of the embossing machine. As the material passes through the embossing cylinder, the pattern on the roller will be embossed onto the aluminum foil.
